In 2017, 90 tons of soil were ordered from Gujranwala to make a hard pitch in the stadium by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). from which three pitches were made here. The soil was collected in three trucks with a fare of Rs. 1.5 lakh

At that time, Zahid, the chief curator of the Pakistan Cricket Board, made three pitches, boundary roofs, and other accessories with the help of PCB.

And Gwadar Stadium did not have to play rights as it was not registered for which all these arrangements were necessary. So after work for a year in 2018 Gwadar stadium got the playing rights here.

In the year 2021, Gwadar cricket stadium held its first match between Gwadar Dolphin and Showbiz Sharks.


It was an exhibition match played by some local players, politicians, and showbiz personalities of Pakistan.
This match was dedicated to Ali Sadpara (late), a mountaineer or climber.
