From Islamabad travel on M-1/AH-1 for about 95 km till Kernel Sher Khan interchange, and then cover a distance of about 170 km by changing highway from M-1 to N-95, towards Chakdara, Mingora to reach Malam Jabba.

You can reach Malam Jabba by taking a flight as well, PIA (Pakistan International Airlines) operates flight operations from Islamabad International airport to Saidu Sharif airport twice a week (Friday & Monday) as Saidu Sharif airport is the nearest airport to Malam Jabba resort in Swat district.
And Malam Jabba ski resort is just 50 km (31 m) away from Saidu Shari airport.
Places to visit in Malam Jabba
The largest place to visit in Malam Jabba is its ski resort where you can perform and enjoy a large number of activities and see some adorable scenic viewpoints. There is an entrance of PKR 2,00 (1 dollar) to pay or you can pay PKR 6,00 (3 dollars) if you want to enjoy sitting on the chair lift.
The most appropriate package they offer is in just PKR 2,500 (13 dollars) as you can perform all activities here and see viewpoints in this package. The minimum package costs PKR 300 (2 dollars) that you can perform wall climbing activity here from it.
The main place to visit in Malam Jabba is its top hill-view point from the players start their ski activity. It is one of the most scenic and adorable places to visit as you can see the whole Malam Jabba ski resort from there.

Hiking trek in Malam Jabba
It is known as a hiking trek point as well because if you don't use a chair lift you can visit this place by hiking on your feet. It takes about 30 to 45 minutes to reach the top as it is one of the easiest treks in Swat valley.
The administration there has also constructed stairs to reach on the top as well on another side of this hiking track, you can use it as well. you can see pearl continental hotel and Samsons resort from this height along with the whole ski resort and tall trees under your feet.
The pleasure of sitting at such a height and enjoying coffee in cold and pleasant weather is something else that makes you feel like a dream. There is another place where you must go. The place is a little higher than the same place where the way to go starts from here.
After enjoying a cup of tea or coffee at this place, you can buy a hot roasted corn stalk and start your journey towards heights. You have never done such hiking in your life. There are also stairs built by the administration which is up to you whether you use them or not.
From this place, you may not be able to see the whole Swat valley but when the weather is clear you can feel the whole area of Char Bagh surrounded by lush trees under your feet.
This place is completely covered with snow in winter and when you look down from a height, the trees feel like cotton buds. Apart from winter, if you come here, bring warm clothes with you because it is difficult to predict when the weather will intensify in Malam Jabba.
Things to do in Malam Jabba
After visiting all these places, I would like to tell you about the various activities that take place here. Apart from enjoying the surroundings by sitting in a chairlift, you can ski here for which you can take the necessary equipment with you even if you do not take it with you. So you get all the goods there at a nominal price.
Snowboarding and wall climbing are very popular sports along with skiing in Malam Jabba which is played in both winter and summer seasons.
