Lasdana Top Bagh, Azad Kashmir
Lasdana is known as a tourist destination in the Bagh district of Azad Kashmir on the top of the mountain, it is also known as Lasdana top or pass and use as a gateway to Mehmood Gali, Aliabad, Padhar, Kahutta, and Dara Haji Peer Valley.

The rest houses at Lasdana pass are very beautiful with all kinds of facilities for tourists at minimal charges. You can rent a room here for about PKR 2000 (12 dollars) per day with all hoteling services.
Along with rooms in these rest houses, you can also get services of mess here at some extra charges or you can have food from other hotels located near. The food quality and its taste are very good and more importantly, people here are very polite, humble, and hospitable.

Lasdana pass is such a beautiful place to stay as it is not famous for its striking views but it is also known as the lushest green place in the Bagh district. It is a beautiful place with a calm and quiet environment where tourists come to comfort their life very far from their daily routine and tensions.
As it is the highest point in the Bagh district after Ganga Choti, there are several short and easiest hiking tracks that open the most scenic and lush green views for their visitors at the end.
Each and every trekking point passes through a dense forest where the chirping of the birds gives a magical feel that spells over tourists.
Most of these hiking tracks end at some beautiful meadows or pastures where tall pine trees add to their beauty.
Lasdana weather
The weather remains cool and pleasant here in summer due to its height and remains 15 Celsius to 25 Celsius. And in the Winter season, Lasdana hosts heavy snowfall and temperature falls down to -5 Celsius on some days.
Best time to visit Lasdana
You can visit here in both winter and summer season as roads are paved and in good condition to travel even in your own vehicles, but subject to safety measures in the winter season.
I would suggest you visit Lasdana top in the summer season so you could see all its striking and admirable views that spread all around, and you can go hiking in the jungle as well.
But it is a different joy to visit here in winter when each and every leaf of the tall trees in dense jungle on the tops of mountains are covered with white snow sheets.
Islamabad to Lasdana
Lasdana has located a distance of about 175 km from Islamabad that takes 6 hours to cover on average. You can reach Lasdana from Islamabad by traveling on Lehtar Rd, that known as Tourism Rd as well.
