Ancient Civilizations

Pakistan is a land of many splendors located in the heart of the South Asian subcontinent. It's a country with its own history and cultural heritage, moreover, the country's attraction ranges from the ruins of civilizations such as Mohinjo Daro, Harappa, and Texla to the Himalayan hill stations.

Kalash Valley is one of the major tourist fractions in Pakistan this is situated in the Chitral district of Pakistan. Kailash is actually a very old great civilization. They belong to old tribes and have their own religion and culture.

Sharda university's historical background providing a special attraction for the people interested in archaeology and history. In the ninth century, it was a Buddhist and Hindu place for learning for centuries.


The modern town of Taxila is 35 kilometers from Islamabad. most of the archaeological sites of Taxila are located around taxel a museum. For over 1,000 years Taxila remained famous as the center of learning Gandhara art of sculpture, architecture, education, and Buddhism in the days of Buddhist glory.

There are over 50 archaeological sites scattered in a radius of 30 kilometers around Taxila. Some of the most important sites are the Dharmarajika stupa and Monastery that's 300 BC 200 AD. Bhir mound 600 to 200 BC, Circa 200 BC to 600 AD, Jandial temple 250 BC, and Julian monastery 200 to 600 AD.

Peaks and Valleys

Pakistan has the most beautiful places in the world for visiting especially at its best in northern areas called Gilgit-Baltistan and the Kashmir region.

The massive and grand snow-clad mountains with lush green valleys fed by the world's longest glaciers, in the forested green hill offering a unique and unsuppressed panorama make northern Pakistan a prime choice of tourists.

The region was dominated by Buddhism which left various rocks inscribed writings and pictures dating back 5000 BC to the 8th century AD.

Mountain Ranges

Well-famous Himalayas Karakoram and the Hindu Kush along with parts of Pamirs are located here. Karakoram highway, river Indus, five peaks above 8,000 meters are important features of the area.

Beautiful Valley

Neelam Valley is a 144 km long valley in the Azad Kashmir region. The valley is situated in the north and northeast of Muzaffarabad the Capital of Azad Kashmir.

Running through the lesser Himalayas the Neelum Valley has excellent scenic beauty, panoramic views, towering Hills, on both sides of the noisy Neelam River, lush green forests, enchanting streams, and attractive surroundings make the valley heaven on earth.

The Galvan Valley is a beautiful valley in the northeast of the Mansehra district. It attracts many tourists from not only Pakistan but also from the whole world.

Laying in the Lower Himalayan mountain range the Galvan valley is famous for its bewitching splendor and natural beauty is one of the most charming tourist resorts in the scenic Hazara division.

There are many beautiful and attractive spots like Shogran, Jared, Naran, Lake Saif ul Maluk, lake Dudipatsar, Lake Lulusar, Babusar pass, and much.

Swat valley is located in an administrative district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. It's the Upper Valley of Swat River, which rises in the Hindukush range.

In ancient times it remained the center of the Buddhist civilization, still having its remnants found of various places.

Heritage Sites

Takht-i-bahi is located 80 kilometers from Peshawar and 16 kilometers northwest of the city of Mardan. Takht-i-bahi was unearthed in the early 20th century.

It was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in the 1980s as the largest Buddhist remains in Gandhara. Along with Sahre behlul urban remains that date back to the same period located about a kilometer south.

Mohinjo Daro was one of the largest city settlements of the Indus Valley Civilisation of South Asia. It's the province of Sindh Pakistan. The city was built around 2600 BC, was one of the early urban settlements in the world.

Mohinjo Daro existed at the same time as a civilization of ancient Egypt Mesopotamia and Greece. The archaeological ruins of the city are designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Pakistan, it's one of the national icons of the distant past.

Deserts

Tharparkar is the largest desert of Pakistan, with a rich multifaceted culture, heritage, traditions, folktales, dances, and music due to its inhabitants who belong to different religions, sects, and castes.

That is a cultural island in the mid of the Sindhi, Rajasthani, and Gujarati ocean of cultures. Their music seems to be more inspired by the Rajasthani music traditions. But with its own emotional rhythm and colors.

Pakistan also offers Cold deserts to visit in the Skardu region.
