Pir Chinasi Muzaffadabad Azad Kashmir
Pir Chinasi (peer Chanasi locally) is a famous tourist destination situated at an elevation of 9500 ft (2900 m), at a distance of 30 km (19 mi) to the east of Muzaffarabad Azad Kashmir administrated by Pakistan. Muzaffarabad is the capital city of Azad Kashmir and is situated at an elevation of 737 m (2420 ft).
It is a famous hill station that hosts tourists, locals, and outsiders. Due to its height, pleasant environment, as well as Paragliding, it is very famous among tourists.

Pir Chinasi is also famous for the presence of a sacred shrine of Syed Hussain Shah Bukhari on this hilltop. It is said that a tiger visits this shrine every 7th day of the week (Thursday). Here is another famous thing about this shrine is that if someone asks for prayer (wish) here, it must be fulfilled.

Pir Chinasi top was a dense forest about a decade ago but with a lack of planning, improper measures, and government negligence, trees were cut down here and now this peak looks like an open field. Now the administration has banned cutting off any kind of trees here and planting new that is causing more greenery and attraction.

But in the summer season, the road becomes slippery due to snowfall so you must hire a Jeep from Muzaffarabad that cost about PKR 3500 to 5000 (20 to 30 dollar).

You can get this facility with a professional who will fly with you at a cost of PKR 5000 to 8000 (30 to 45 dollars) for about 45 to 60 minutes ride.
