Babusar Top / Pass

Babusar Top known as Babusar Pass is a path that connects KPK to Gilgit Baltistan via Chilas. Very few people know it is a viewpoint of two great peaks one is a great Nanga-Parbat peak and the second is the great Rakaposhi peak. Babusar Top height is 13691 ft. or 4173 meters.

Many tourists use to go from Naran Kaghan to Hunza valley in Gilgit Baltistan from this way via the Karakoram highway, also known as the Silk road.

There are a great number of places to visit in Pakistan other than its beautiful cities which makes Pakistan the ultimate tourists hotspot in the world.

But today our topic is to talk about Babusar Top, where you can see a magnificent view of Two peaks from here.

Ninety-nine percent of the tourists passing through Babu Sar Top definitely stop here and almost the same percentage of tourists do not know that it is possible to see the two great peaks of the world from here.

But the condition for this is that the sky is clear. Many people may have seen these icy peaks. But they do not know which are these great mountains which they are seeing alive.

Nanga Parbat Peak

Nanga Parbat peak is 26657 feet high, this mountain is the ninth highest peak in the world. Unparalleled in beauty, this mountain is located in the mountain range of the Himalayas.

The true beauty of this incomparably beautiful mountain can be seen from the famous tourist destination Ferry Meadows. Its high peak can be seen from many places.

One of them is Babu Sar Pass. When we go from Lulusar to Babusar Pass, three kilometers before the Babusar Top, on the right side of the Top, the white snowy peak of Nanga Parbat is visible.

Condition to see

It can be seen by stopping the car here. Or if you reach Babusar Top and do a little trekking on the mountain to the right of Babusar Pass where the tower is located, you can see it from there too, but the condition is that the weather is clear and the sky is blue.

Rakaposhi Peak

The second highest peak that is visible from Babusar Top is Rakaposhi. Rakaposhi, Nagar is a 25550 feet / 7788-meter high mountain in North Pakistan (Gilgit-Baltistan). It is the 12th highest peak in Pakistan and the 27th highest in the world. It is located in the Karakoram mountain range and is unique in its beauty.

Arriving at Babusar Top, there is a small car park on the right side. From there, tourists usually have a beautiful view of Chilas and see the beautiful road which looks like a snake, but few people know that the steep ice peak in front of them is beautiful Rakaposhi.

Condition to see

Clear weather is also a must condition to see this peak. And the weather may be clear on Babu Sar Top but the tops are usually cloudy. In that condition visibility to peak might be below. For most of the year, these peaks are surrounded by clouds.

The kindness of nature to me

But perhaps these mighty peaks had guessed that a madman was coming after a long distance, so they immediately took off the veil of clouds and opened themselves and put it in front of me. And the funny thing is that after a while they went into the clouds again.
